The Sky High Ranch, owned by Ray & Mary Visco, is located in the Elgin/Sonoita area of Southern Arizona. The ranch is surrounded by endless miles of outside riding and a working cattle ranch. Students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of skills. Most days are spent horseback, preparing you and the horse and developing skills such as beginning to advanced ranch roping, arena exercises, some colt starting and the day to day needs of the Open Cross cattle. This program is customized to the ability of each individual. Nobody knows too little or too much to greatly benefit from this experience.
Cost is $2000/month. Lodging, cooking facilities and some transportation is provided.
